Moroccan Engagement Party Pt. 1

Venice, CA

Happy Monday!  I am SO excited to finally share photos from the Moroccan themed engagement party I threw for my little sister.  I had a blast dreaming up this day and love the way it all came together.  It was bohemian, casual, elegant and relaxed set in my backyard in Venice, California.  We had about 50 friends and family come to celebrate the special occasion on a beautiful spring afternoon.  My sister loves the color yellow so I picked up linen napkins from Hudson Grace beforehand.  Madeline Weinrib – one of my absolute favorite furniture designers sent over a set of her to-die-for black and white dishes, and I sourced these lanterns from World Market.  The chairs and rugs were rented with the help of my event planner Layne Kula – who also did the flowers.  She is truly talented and a jack of all trades!  My dear friend Jessica photographed the entire day – and I’m looking forward to sharing Pt. 2 and 3 of the party with loads more pictures throughout the week.  To see the full spread – head to Style Me Pretty where I share ALL of the details about this special day!!!
